Guidelines for Authors

  1. Scope and General Provisions

Kalyana Bhumi Journal publishes articles on Community Service, which are the results of research by university lecturers. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or English and follow this journal template.

  1. Writing Format
  • Article title maximum 20 words
  • Manuscripts are written according to journal templates.
  • The citation and reference system uses the IEEE Format
  • The minimum number of references is 12 and it is recommended that they were published within the last 5 years.
  1. Author Identity
  • The author's name is written without a title
  • Corresponding authors are marked with an (*)
  • Affiliates include:
    • Study Program (Department)/Faculty
    • University/Institute/College
    • Region (Province/City/District), Country
  • All authors' email addresses must be included.
  1. Abstract and Keywords

Abstract:

  • Written in one paragraph (1 space)
  • Length 100–300 words
  • Citations are not allowed.
  • Load:
    • Background of the problem
    • Objectives of the activity
    • Method
    • Results and/or conclusions
    • Impact or contribution
  • The results are presented in the form of quantitative data (percentages, values, etc.)

Keywords:

  • Consists of 3–5 words
  • Separated by a semicolon (;)
  1. Article Structure

The manuscript is arranged systematically as follows:

Introduction

  • Partner background and issues
  • Analysis of partner situation and location
  • The solutions offered
  • Using numbered citations [1], [2]–[5]
  • Length is about 10–20% of the entire article

Method

  • Procedures and techniques for implementing community service
  • Brief literature review
  • Can contain mathematical equations or algorithms
  • Length is about 20–30% of the entire article

Results

  • Presenting the results and outcomes of service activities
  • Complete with tables, figures, and quantitative data
  • It is the main part (50–65% of the article)

Discussion

  • Discussion of results based on partner perspectives
  • Can be supplemented with diagrams or questionnaire results
  • Length about 10–20%

Conclusion

  • Presented in paragraph form
  • Summarizing the main results
  • Do not repeat the contents of the abstract

Thank-you note

  • Addressed to funders, partners, and activity supporters.

Bibliography

  • Using IEEE Format .
  • References are written in the order of citation.
  • It is recommended to use Mendeley, Zotero, or another reference manager.
  1. Tables, Figures, and Equations
  • Tables and figures must be clear and not blurry.
  • Minimum image resolution 300 dpi
  • Every table and figure must be referenced in the text.
  • Equations are written using the Equation Editor/MathType and are numbered sequentially.
  1. Manuscript Submission Process
  1. Authors register/login on the journal website
  2. Manuscripts are uploaded via the submit manuscript/article menu
  3. The manuscript will go through a review and editing process.
  4. Articles are published according to the results of the review and the editor's decision.
